When comparing providers, check the actual paper stock (coated, uncoated, art paper), the printer's resolution, and whether they review your file before printing — color mismatch between the design file and the final print is the most common issue in this industry.

How ordering and file handoff works on vServe

The vServe process has four steps: send a design file in PDF or AI format with at least 300dpi resolution, choose quantity and material, the provider confirms delivery within the listed window (for example 300 minutes for posters, 600 minutes for folded brochures), then pay and receive the order at your chosen location or pick it up directly. For post-print finishing like laminating or foil stamping, you need to bring the printed sheets to the workshop yourself since this is an at-provider service.

Publishing permits and ISBN in Vietnam

Under Vietnam's Publishing Law, books officially released to the market need a publishing permit issued by a publisher and an ISBN registered through the Publishing, Printing and Distribution Department; permit-support fees on vServe range from 1,500,000 to 15,000,000đ per title depending on content complexity and the number of revisions needed. Internal-use documents, yearbooks or books not sold commercially usually don't require an ISBN but must carry the line 'internal circulation only' on the cover. vServe only helps prepare and submit paperwork — it does not act on behalf of any state agency or control how long approval takes.

Post-print finishing options

Post-print finishing includes gloss/matte laminating, foil stamping, spiral or thermal binding, priced at around từ 8.000đ per sheet or bound copy depending on the finishing type, with about 240 minutes of workshop turnaround. This is an at-provider service, so you'll need to bring the printed sheets in person rather than order it fully online; it's worth checking beforehand whether the workshop can laminate sizes larger than A3, since not every machine handles oversized sheets.

Marketing pieces like company profiles have a wide price range, from 2,000,000 to 30,000,000đ per set, depending on page count, cover material (hardcover, leather, foil-stamped), print run, and whether new design work is needed or existing content is reused. Smaller items like template-based desk calendars cost around từ 35.000đ per set with turnaround up to 600 minutes, since these are usually ordered during the year-end rush — booking early helps avoid delays.
